World Mental Health Day

Thursday 10th October marked 'World Mental Health Day'. An opportunity to raise awareness, encourage discussions, and provide information and support to those suffering with mental health conditions.

World Mental Health Day is very often associated with the colour yellow - a symbol of happiness, hope and optimism. With this in mind, our fantastic cohort of Sixth Form students arranged to celebrate this date by coming to school wearing something yellow, and in turn raising money for 'YoungMinds', a mental health charity supporting children, young people and their parents. Students looked amazing dressed in their yellow attire which included football shirts, bucket hats and even a banana costume!

Overall, a fantastic £166 was raised, a tremendous achievement and a testament to our outstanding Sixth Form students and staff, we are very proud of you!
