Welcome to the Sixth Form
At The Marlborough, our students are positive and hard-working young people, who have immense potential, and demonstrate on a daily basis our values of ambition, perseverance and respect. Our aim is to ensure that every student who enrols here feels supported and encouraged to achieve their very best outcomes, which allows them to access the best possible destination when they leave school.
Looking at The Marlborough Church of England Sixth Form and the range of courses and opportunities we offer is the first exciting stage in helping you to decide the next step after your GCSEs. During this process, and when you become a member of our Sixth Form community, you will have a team of people around you to support and advise you every step of the way. Your Form Tutor, subject specialist teachers and the Sixth Form Team will guide you, challenge you and drive you on to be your best while working with your parents or carers to ensure we are providing effective, personalised support.
We offer a wide range of courses that will allow you to tailor your curriculum to fit your interests and ambitions. Each subject is taught by subject specialists who have years of experience in teaching A Level and first-hand knowledge of where successful A Level study can take you. We also offer a range of extra leadership and super curricular opportunities designed to broaden your experience of school and deepen your understanding of the subjects you are studying at A Level.
The excellent facilities for the Sixth Form encourage students’ autonomy and help to develop important habits of independent learning. We know our students really well, and we are well equipped to provide the individual attention needed at this pivotal stage of their education.
Please don't hesitate to get in touch if you have any questions about our Sixth Form.
