Trip to Normandy

On the 7th July a group of 30 Year 9 students attended our annual trip to Château de la Baudonnière in Normandy, France. We enjoyed five days in the sun, participating in a range of activities at the Château such as archery, team building, aeroball and my personal favourite, bread making, alongside lots of sports and games. We also had the pleasure of visiting the market town of Dinan, and the beautiful walled port city of St Malo.

When we were at the Château, everything was conducted in French so it really is a truly immersive experience into French language and culture. It was lovely to hear so many of the students say how much more confident they were with the language at the end of the trip, and how much more they understood. We all enjoyed un séjour inoubliable!
