South African Choir Visit

On Wednesday 24th June, The Marlborough School had the great joy of hosting The South African Youth Choir who came into school to do a workshop with members of our Marlborough Music Community. 

It was a fantastic (and hot!) afternoon where Marlborough Students shared songs such as 'Shine Your Light' and 'From the Start' with The South African Youth Choir who, in turn, taught Marlborough Students 'Ngisondela Kuwe Ngonyama' and 'Nkosi Sikelel' iAfrika' as well as performing several beautiful renditions of other songs.

The workshop culminated in a concert at St Mary Magdalene's Church in Woodstock in the early evening, where the audience were treated to a magnificent performance by The South African Youth Choir.
