We are delighted to announce the results of our most recent Ofsted report. Due to the nature of the inspection, the overall grade of ‘good’ could not be changed, but the findings of the Inspection Team led to the following outcome: The Marlborough Church of England School continues to be a good school. There is enough evidence of improved performance to suggest that the school could be judged outstanding if we were to carry out a graded (section 5) inspection now.
This is the best outcome we could have hoped for and confirms our own evaluation of our school as an exceptional place for young people to learn and flourish.
