The annual Senior Citizens’ Christmas afternoon tea took place on Wednesday 4th of December. We invited local Senior Citizens to Marlborough for a festive afternoon tea, complete with a variety of tempting sandwiches, scones, cakes and traybakes. Our incredible choir treated us to some Christmas carols, which were sung acapella and in four part harmony. After their performance the guests and student volunteers joined with the choir to sing some more Christmas carols and songs. Finally, after a last cup of tea, the raffle was drawn by Mr Hanlon, and reluctantly we drew the event to an end.
