A Level success at The Marlborough School 2023
BackWe are delighted to announce another year of fantastic A Level results at the Marlborough School. Our results have remained really strong, surpassing our 2019 performance. Crucially, the vast majority of our students have secured their first choice University place or other high-quality destination.
It was amazing to see so many smiling and happy faces as our students collected their results from the MEC! We are so proud of them and all they have achieved. All of the success enjoyed by our students has been down to their hard work, determination and dedication, ably supported by our brilliant teachers.
Our highest performing young people have achieved incredible results, including Isabel Cottingham (Bath: Psychology); Ben Furner (Bath: Economics); Anna Hipkiss (Cambridge: Theology); Theo Job (Warwick: Physics); Josh Norman (Warwick: Maths); Carys Preston (Durham: English Literature); Sam Tyler (Leeds; Biochemistry); and Issy Whitfield (Cambridge: Medicine) who all achieved three A and A*s or better.
As an inclusive and comprehensive Sixth Form, we are equally as proud of all of our young people who have achieved so much in their time with us at Marlborough. This group of students missed out on sitting their GCSE examinations because of Covid and have had to cope with so much. Their resilience, perseverance and positivity is amazing, and they deserve to enjoy all of their success today and in the future.
We are proud of what they have achieved and of the people they are. They are inspirational. We wish them every success as they leave Marlborough and begin their exciting new lives.
