Celebrating GCSE success at Marlborough 2023

The long wait for GCSE students is over and we are once again celebrating tremendous results here at The Marlborough School. The Year 11s have performed extremely well in all key measures, which is particularly pleasing as this particular year group have had some real challenges to face over the course of their journey through school. We are delighted to see them all do so well.

The great results achieved today only come after years of dedication, hard work and wonderful relationships built between teachers and students. This excellent performance is a real team effort and we are proud of all our young people and their families.

These results show that Marlborough is a school where you can fulfil your ambitions and achieve your goals. Students across the board have performed well, and we are seeing record numbers of pupils achieve the grades to stay on into the Sixth Form here at school. We are equally as proud of those students who are going off to College, or to high quality apprenticeships – the range and quality of our destinations are genuinely inspiring.

Well done to all our students. Building on the success of our A Level results last week, we look forward to welcoming a really strong cohort of students into our Year 12 next year.

To the students leaving to go to College or an Apprenticeship, we wish them all the very best for a really bright future.
