Woodstock Remembrance Sunday Service
Article / Posted on 12 Nov 2024
Principal Mr Hanlon was joined by two of our Year 8 students, Cora and William, to attend the Woodstock Remembrance Sunday service and lay a wreath on behalf of the school community.  The Reverend Sarah Bourne led a poignant service at the War Memorial and a two-minute silence was observed at 11:00am followed by the sounding of the Last Post.  The names of the servicemen and women were read out and will be remembered always.

The Whole School Assembly on Wednesday will mark the time when the whole Marlborough community gathers to take part in our own act of Remembrance, as we do every year at this time.
