From 27th-30th March, 45 adventurous students embarked on an unforgettable journey to explore the heart and soul of this historic city. Immersing themselves in Berlin's rich past and dynamic present, our Year 10 students embarked on a captivating History trip over the Easter break. From visiting iconic landmarks like the Brandenburg Gate and the Reichstag, every moment was a chance to learn, discover, and be inspired.

The East Side Gallery, a living testament to the city's tumultuous history, left the students in awe with its vibrant murals and poignant stories. Standing before the remnants of the Berlin Wall, discussion took place on the Cold War era, the fall of the Iron Curtain, and the enduring spirit of resilience.

But their adventure didn't stop there! The group also had the chance to explore historic sites like Checkpoint Charlie and the Typographies of Terrors.
