Year 10 and 12 Drama Workshop 19th March: Comparing La Bohème and Rent.

The Drama department welcomed members of The Longborough Festival of Opera to carry out a captivating workshop, delving into the rich tapestry of storytelling woven by Puccini's La Bohème and Jonathan Larson's Rent. 

The workshop led by a team of opera and musical theatre professionals compared and contrasted these two iconic works of opera and musical theatre. The workshop unfolded as a dynamic exploration of storytelling techniques, musical motifs, and thematic parallels. As the students delved into the depths of this classic narrative, they were transported to a world where passion and despair intermingled in a symphony of emotions.
