Thank you to everyone who donated food as part of our annual Harvest food drive for the local Food Bank. The food all goes to the North Oxfordshire Food Bank where it is distributed to those in the community who need it the most.
On Friday 3rd October, I took a team of 6th Form volunteers to take all the donations and drop them off at Kidlington Baptist Church where it will all be sorted, processed and distributed. It's always a really great opportunity to see what happens with the food at the other end, and how into the community it will reach.

We received the following message from the foodbank team:
Can you pass on heartfelt thanks to your school for all the donations made to the Foodbank, every single donation makes a difference. There are individuals and families in need of support to help them get through difficult times in their lives, and your support helps so much. Some of the food will be quickly used but much of it will go into our store for the coming months. Thank you all so much.
The Foodbank Team.
Thanks again to everyone who donated food in order for us to support the wider community in such an impactful way.
