The Marlborough School Apprenticeship Fair

Apprenticeship Fair 13th March 2025 – Year 10 to Year 13.

The halls were buzzing with excitement and apprehension, as over 30 employers set up their stalls with displays and information for our visiting parents and students in preperation for the annual Marlborough School Apprenticeship Fair

We were overwhelmed by the number of visitors, with over 300 students attending along with their families. The presentations were professionally delivered by our guest apprentices from BMW, Max and Taylor and OUH Microbiology department Lucy, our guest speakers were asked to do the presentations twice as we couldn’t fit all the people into the Library in one sitting.

In the MEC and Sports Hall the employers were kept extremely busy answering all the questions put to them about their company and opportunities which they had on offer. Employers remarked on how these were meaningful conversations and that students were asking more challenging questions, which the employers had not come across before. Many of them ran out of leaflets and booklets as so many were handed out.

We would like to thank everyone who was involved in making the event happen, to our parents, carers and students for attending, the apprentice ambassadors and all of the employers who are listed on the exhibitor list. Until next year!
