Dear Parents and Carers,

Year 8 Information Evening: Thursday 23rd October 6pm: MEC

You are warmly invited to our ‘Year 8 Information Evening’ event for parents and carers which is taking place on Thursday 23rd October, starting at 6pm. The event is taking place in the MEC. Pupils are welcome to attend with their families.

This evening is a chance for you to hear key information about our school and to learn about the systems we use in school to ensure our Year 8s feel happy and safe. We will also share some of the thinking behind our approaches to behaviour and teaching and learning.

Please also note that refreshments will be available after the presentation in the Ormerod Resource Base. This will give you a chance to have an informal conversation with ourselves and Miss Phipps, SENDCo, to answer any questions or queries you may have. It is also the chance to meet and talk with other parents of Year 8 children.
