Sixth Form Open Evening

We were delighted to welcome over four hundred students and their parents to our Sixth Form Open Evening on Thursday 23rd January.

The evening started with a warm welcome from Mr. Hanlon, Principal, and Ms. Jones, Head of Sixth Form. Polly and Ben, two current Sixth Form students spoke passionately about their time at Marlborough and afterwards, prospective students and parents were able to visit all subject departments and talk to A Level Teachers during the evening.

In the Sixth Form Centre there was an opportunity to talk to current students about life as a Sixth Former, find out about the extensive extra-curricular activities on offer, whilst Ms Jones, Mr Gavin, and Pastoral Support Assistant Ms Fry were available to answer any questions. There was also a chance to see some of our current Sixth Formers course work on display in the Art and Design Technology areas, and to see performances in Music and Drama.
